We are making the following changes to our annual free Easter Celebration;

This year the track will be closed on Easter Day, April 21, 2019.  We will be open Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 9:00am till 7:00pm for all motorcycle riders free of charge.    As usual, there will be barbecue and an Easter Egg hunt beginning around 1:00pm.

This Easter, we are returning to our roots, no Quads.  We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause, but the two groups fail to ride together cordially.

Saturday December 30, 2017

It is 33 degrees outside, and damp.  It feels more like 25.  And we are packed!  The dirt is good and I am thankful for this day!

Pilon fracture, MRSA, and drought

I apologize for not keeping everyone informed about the track as I should have.  My pilon fracture led to two surgeries, long recovery, turned MRSA bone infection, another surgery, and now iv antibiotics for god knows how long.   Regardless, I feel good enough now to make it out to the track and that is nice.  A nice crowd is coming in today as the weather is perfect.  I will warn you that the track is a bit dry.  There is nothing we can do because there simply is no water.

With help from above, changes were made

Just as we laid down what was left of our water supply, the heavens opened and filled all our tanks and saturated the earth. We used this opportunity to disc the entire track and make some much needed improvements. We hope by now most riders have noticed our renewed commitment to watering the track regularly to give you the best conditions possible. In addition to this, Lucky has taken advantage of the weather and thoroughly worked the soil, changing things where he thought best.

Supreme conditions!

I’m going to be honest, this is an old pic with soil conditions comparable to what we have right now.   I did  not get any photos tonight because I was too busy riding as conditions were great.  We got a downpour earlier today so we did not need to water and we plowed and drug the tracks multiple times.   This is the best I’ve seen them this year.

The sun definitely came out for Father’s Day

Turnout was low but on  we expect that on days exceeding 100.  The thing about our track that some do not realize is that on extremely hot days, due to how much shade we have and how late we stay open, riders can hold off until 3 or 4 and still get four or five hours of track time in.  By four o’clock our trees are providing ample shade on most of our track.  Come give us a try.
